Objectives: The purpose of this paper is to comprehensively describe and justify the case design an approach for integration synchronous virtual meetings support nontraditional online doctoral candidates. As more students are completing their degree programs virtually through universities, nature progression development critical knowledge skills differ from traditional on-campus programs. Method: integrating interactive these learners identified justified references research in learning sciences including sociocultural learning, heutagogy, constructivist instructional methods. process resulted a scaled schedule interactions linked specific cognitive processes, academic skills, expert required by candidates successful completion Results: This study identification developmentally phased designed were increase effectiveness efficiency candidate’s progress. Conclusions: results how throughout can both advanced collaboration needed between mentor mentee be successful.
